Hello again my dear fans :)

Let me catch you up on what I've been up to. As you know I injured my back at Wimbledon. I couldn't train for 10 days, but also during that time I took a little vacation, so that was okay. I went to Venice with my family, which was a really enjoyable time.

I started training again and went to Portoroz, which is a beautiful place. My family came there too and my boyfriend was there as well, which was great. I went on a yacht and went for walks next to the sea every day. The people there were really nice. It was my first time there, and everything was so well organized, hopefully I'll go there again next year.

Unfortunately, in my second round match, I was up 61 20 and went running for a ball and twisted my ankle. I had to retire and I haven't hit since then. I'm still recovering. I came back to Serbia afterwards and have a whole team of doctors helping me get healthy as fast as possible. They have been with me for a long time so I know they are doing everything they can.

Injuries aren't welcome but that's part of the sport. I've had some really bad luck in my last two tournaments but you hope for the best and keep working hard. I am back at No.2 in the rankings now and I've been playing well, I just pray my health will be all right so I can continue to do my job the best I can.

I'm hoping to leave for San Diego in the next few days. I love it there. That's where my new house is going to be. Next year in San Diego, I'll be playing at home. It's not often you can sleep in your own bed and play a tournament at the same time! I'm really happy it has come back into our schedule.

I have to mention Aleksandra Krunic, who is just 16 years old and from Serbia. I played doubles with her in Portoroz. I'm her mentor, and playing with her was so much fun. We made it to the semifinals but because of my injury I had to withdraw from the match. She played really well though. She's a great girl with great potential. I also played another young Serbian girl in my first round match, Bojana Jovanovski. She's 18 and we played in Fed Cup this year. We also practiced together before the tournament so it was bad luck we drew each other in the first round there. She's a very nice girl too. It's great that Serbia has a lot of young, talented players coming up!

Speaking of Serbia, I have a fan club here and a lot of them came to Portoroz. I really appreciated it. They gave me a nice present, a bracelet made of white gold, with "Always With You" engraved on it. It's amazing. It's nice to know wherever you go, people are cheering for you and wishing you the best. All of my fans mean a lot to me - and they are always with me, no matter what, winning or losing, healthy or injured... I want to give you all a special thanks!

I'll talk to you all again very soon :)
