One of the best Serbian athletes, the tennis star recognized not only in our country, but in the world too, Jelena Jankovic, received a great award from "Puls" magazine readers - Oscar of popularity. Popular JJ, recognizable by her charm and style easily won the hearts of the tennis fans, but also of the people who are not in sports. "Puls" readers sent their votes by coupons and SMS messages during the last two months, and the most popular athlete of the year was elected simply by counting all of them.
Beside Jelena, the nominees were her colleague Ana Ivanovic, and a swimmer Nadja Higl, who marked the year behind us by her sport success.
Even though she had lots of obligations, Jelena found time to be part of this show, and personally give thanks to everyone who voted for her. She sat in the first row beside celebrities such as Radomir Antic, Miroslav Ilic, Neda Ukraden, Djordje Marjanovic, Radmila Zivkovic, Vesna Zmijanac and many other who were all in the Great hall of "Sava" center, on 9th of February.

Hi!
Three days have passed since the end of the Fed Cup tie between Serbia and Russia, the great battle from which we, unfortunately, did not come out as winners. I am dissapointed, and I do not hide it. I know you should always go further and look to the future, but this loss hurts, and the time will heal the pain. The last time I wrote to you I was in Florida, still in dilemma whethere to come to Belgrade, play Fed Cup and thus risk a lot, because the injury I have had (which has not yet fully healed) could become even more problematic, and probably sent me away from the court for a long period of time. But, the heart beat the mind. I decided to go to this journey and fight in the "Belgrade Arena", to give my maximum, so let it be.

 Jelena Jankovic has been chosen by Orbit to be its smile ambassador for the territory of Serbia. This is the first time ever that orbit has appointed a brand ambassador in Serbia and Jelena has been chosen for her beautiful and dazzling smile, which is as famous as her sports victories. This successful tennis player is the star of the latest TV commercial for Orbit chewing gum, which will hit TV stations in Serbia in March. The viewers will thusly be able to see Jelena Jankovic perform off-court and enjoy her shiny smile.
